Today on the artist dashboard media takeout caught up with former teen-star "Lil Zane (to the right)".He spoke on his struggles and outlook of the industry today.His expected comeback album the return sold only a small percentage of what it was expected so with this said of course the artist would be upset.
After being asked his opinion about the new artists in the industry Lil zane took shots at guys like Travis porter, Roscoe dash, and Soulja boy. Saying he feels as though everyone is searching for the same person. After the remarks about the fellow artists he went on to say. "There are plenty of guys who are on their shit that no one recognizes". "You got Willy the kid, Electrik n Ecstasy, J-smiff, !5 watts, and alot of other guys doin there thing on the internet.
The former rap-star went on to say "these guys are hustlin with there own labels and thats what you should want. Not a dance thats going to be hot right now". "I aint taking shots at no one but let the truth be known". "I've been on tracks with the best and the worst and i know talent alot of these new guys dont have it".
The Teen rap-stars Newest release "The Return" is on sale and in stores now.
